Sony's α6700 illustrates a compact interchangeable-lens body with mic/headphone terminals, USB power support and configurable HDMI recording/output, alongside explicit thermal limits. Panasonic's GH7 illustrates a video-oriented body with internal 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p and stated unlimited recording under its conditions, plus simultaneous internal/HDMI recording.

These facts define candidates for different operating plans; they are not comparative image-quality scores.

Single vs multi-camera

One reliable wide or medium camera is easier to power, monitor, sync and edit. Add angles only when they improve a long conversation enough to justify matched settings, extra storage and edit time.

Output and recording map

Acceptance protocol

Run a full-duration rehearsal with two faces, normal movement and the real lights. Check every file, dropped segment, focus event, power/media margin, temperature message, sync, output and edit playback before accepting the system.
